Is dry ice blasting safe on my vehicle?

Yes — completely. Dry ice blasting is a non-abrasive process that won't damage paint, chrome, anodised finishes, rubber seals, plastics, electrics or labels. It's used extensively in aerospace, F1 and classic car restoration where damage simply isn't an option.

How long does a job take?

Most jobs are completed in a single day. A full chassis clean typically takes 4-6 hours, an engine bay 2-3 hours. We'll give you an accurate estimate when we quote.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle and the scope of work. We provide free quotes upfront — send a few photos of the vehicle and we'll give you a transparent price the same day.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the vehicle?

Both options are available. We have a mobile service for customers across the UK, or you can bring the vehicle to us. Mobile service is great for restorations, workshops and trade customers.

Will it remove rust?

Dry ice blasting will remove surface rust and loose corrosion. For deeper structural rust, mechanical removal may still be needed — but dry ice is excellent for preparing surfaces before further treatment.

Is it environmentally friendly?

Yes. The CO₂ used is a recycled industrial by-product, so the process is carbon neutral. There's no water use, no chemical waste and no contaminated run-off.

Can you clean modern cars with sensors and ECUs?

Absolutely. Because there's no water and no abrasive media, dry ice blasting is one of the safest cleaning methods for modern vehicles with extensive electronics. We mask sensitive labels and connectors as standard practice.

Do I need to drain fluids or remove anything?

No — most jobs are done with everything in place. We'll discuss any specific preparation needed when quoting.
